Six years ago, Jones was a single mum with ambitions to carve a niche into the wellness sector with a single course; she now has more than 1,000 courses in everything from hypnotherapy to marketing, a team of 16 (plus 30 freelancers) and 500,000 customers around the world.
“The secret ingredient was firstly believing in myself and secondly, and most importantly, taking action,” she says, adding that she was able to grow quickly by outsourcing a lot of work to skilled freelancers. The internet has been invaluable: “We’ve used social media to build a huge following of over a million fans on Facebook and a thriving community,” she says.
